Applications are invited for the following temporary posts under DST project “Technology Enabling Centre (TEC). The posts will be initially filled up for one year but can be further extended depending on the performance and work capabilities of the selected candidates.

Position 1: Manager (03 Posts)
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s degree in natural or agricultural sciences/MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Four years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services.
-OR-
- Doctoral degree in science/engineering/technology/pharma/MD/MS from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable:
- Experience in IPR related activities and legalities associated with technology development.
- Experience in writing contracts, MoUs, MoAs, project reports, review reports, technical proposals, etc.
- Cleared patent agent exam.
Upper Age Limit: 40 years
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/- + HRA
Job Profile:
- Assess R&D needs of industry and liaise between academia and industry in the region.
- Handle IPR related activities and legalities associated with technology development.
- Interact extensively with research/academic labs to identify technologies.
- Write contracts, MoUs, MoAs, NDA, EoI documents, project reports, review reports, and technical proposals.
- Interact extensively with industry via phone and travel to assess R&D needs.
Desired Skills / Abilities:
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills over the phone
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision
- Ability to work under pressure

Position 2: Data Entry Operator (01 Post)
Essential Qualification:
- Graduate degree in Science.
Desirable:
- Experience in website development, office work, data entry, multipurpose work, and fieldwork.
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA
Job Profile:
- Handle diverse clerical and administrative tasks, including drafting official letters, processing bills, and maintaining records.
- Maintain/upgrade the TEC website.
Desired Skills / Abilities:
- Proficient in data entry and administrative tasks.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Competent in maintaining attendance and leave records.
- Understanding of payroll processing and financial management for handling grants and preparing financial statements.
- Website management and graphic design proficiency.
- Knowledge of TA/DA, purchase billing, and record maintenance.
- Basic accounting skills for handling bank accounts and audits.
- Ability to adapt and perform other office duties as required.

Other Requirements:
- Fully flexible and able to work during evenings and weekends if needed.
Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Manager:
- Cold-calling to industry.
- Scheduling meetings/visits to industry.
- Extensive visits to industries in the region.
- R&D need assessment of industry.
- Drafting and submission of visit reports.
- Uploading R&D needs of industry on the TEC website.
- Liaison between academia and industry and organizing meetings.
- Handling IPR-related activities.
- Mining technologies in regional labs.
- Drafting EoI documents.
- Drafting NDA/contracts/MoUs/MoAs as required.
Data Entry Operator:
- Handle clerical and administrative tasks like drafting official letters, preparing TA/DA/purchase bills, and maintaining records.
- Maintain attendance/leave/overtime records.
- Prepare payroll considering absences and leaves.

Recruitment Process:

The envelope should be titled “Application for the post of ____________”. Late applications will not be entertained.
Required Documents:

- Personal statement (max 500 words) explaining your suitability for the position.
- Attested copies of certificates (Class X, Class XII/Diploma, Degree(s), experience certificates, Government-issued photo ID proof, Date of Birth proof, and any other relevant documents).
