The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), Mohali, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, is inviting applications for various faculty positions on a direct recruitment basis.
Positions and Vacancies:
- Professor: 13 Posts
- Associate Professor: 12 Posts
- Assistant Professor: 7 Posts
Total: 32 Posts across various specializations including Pharmacoinformatics, Natural Products, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy Practice, Pharmaceutical Technology – Formulations, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology – Process Chemistry, Clinical Research, etc.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout and at least 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent, very good academic record, and at least 8 years of experience.
- Assistant Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent, very good academic record, and at least 5 years of experience.
Pay Scale:
- Professor: Level-14A, Rs. 1,59,100-2,20,200/-
- Associate Professor: Level-13A2, Rs. 1,39,600-2,11,300/-
- Assistant Professor: Level-12, Rs. 1,01,500-1,67,400/-
Age Limit:
- Maximum 50 years for Professor and Associate Professor.
- Maximum 45 years for Assistant Professor.
Application Fee:
- Unreserved, EWS, and OBC categories: Rs. 1,000/-
- SC/ST/PwBD/Female candidates: NIL
Payment Mode: NEFT only. Proof of payment required.
Special Allowances and Benefits:
- Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Medical Reimbursement Facility, Leave Travel Concession, and other allowances as applicable.
