About the Project: The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has funded a project entitled “IIRP-2023-3274/F1”, titled “Standard therapy versus PLasmalyte In children with Dengue Shock Syndrome (SPLID TRIAL): an open labelled randomised control trial”. This crucial study aims to explore effective treatment modalities for Dengue Shock Syndrome in children, and we are seeking dedicated project staff to join our team.

Project Scientist-I
- Number of Posts: 1
- Age Limit: 35 years
- Qualification Required: MBBS/BDS
- Desirable: Research experience
- Remuneration: ₹56,000/- + 18% HRA (₹10,080) = ₹66,080/- per month
Data Entry Operator-I
- Number of Posts: 1
- Age Limit: 30 years
- Qualification Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications/IT/Computer Science from a recognized university or institution
- Desirable: Work experience in projects
- Remuneration: ₹29,200/- per month

Submission Deadline for Hardcopies: March 21, 2024, up to 5:00 p.m. Hardcopies of applications, along with self-attested photocopies of certificates, must reach the Pediatric office, Deptt. of Pediatrics, Block D, Level 4, GMCH, Chandigarh. Late or incomplete applications, or those not accompanied by relevant documents, will be summarily rejected.
Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted based on qualification and work experience. A written test may be conducted if necessary on April 3, 2024. Interviews for both posts are scheduled for April 3, 2024, at 3:00 PM in PIA Room, Block D, Level 2, Room no. 226, GMCH, Chandigarh. Changes to the interview date, if any, will be communicated via email.
Tenure: 12 months, extendable to three years based on the project’s requirements. These are contractual positions with no claim for regular appointment or permanent absorption.
