Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Indian citizens.
- Age Limit: 21-25 years as on 01 Jul 2024 (age relaxation applicable for certain candidates).
- Educational Qualification: Varies by branch, with requirements in degrees from recognized universities and specified aggregate marks. Details for each branch are as follows:
- General Duty (GD): Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% aggregate marks. Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to class XII.
- Technical (Mechanical): Engineering degree in specified disciplines with minimum 60% aggregate marks. Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to class XII.
- Technical (Electrical/Electronics): Engineering degree in specified disciplines with minimum 60% aggregate marks. Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to class XII.
Selection Procedure: The selection process is comprehensive and includes stages from I to V, encompassing an online screening test (CGCAT), Preliminary Selection Board (PSB), Final Selection Board (FSB), Medical Examination, and Induction into training.
