Job Vacancy: Data Entry Operator at Biomedical Instruments and Devices Hub, PGIMER, Chandigarh
Applications are currently being accepted for the position of Data Entry Operator (DEO) at the Biomedical Instruments and Devices Hub—a center endorsed by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi, for innovation, design, and clinical validation. This opportunity is located within the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
Duration: The position is initially available for three months, with the potential for extension based on the selected candidate’s performance and capabilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Qualification: The applicant must hold a Graduation degree in any stream.
- Technical Skills: A Diploma in Computer Application or a minimum of one year of experience operating computers and MS Office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurate data collection and entry into databases.
- Maintenance of precise records for important projects.
- Proficiency in fast typing with an eye for detail, alongside familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms.
- Managing and keeping records of accounts.
Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 to 35 years old.
Salary: A fixed salary of Rs. 23,000/- per month will be offered to the selected candidate.

Selection Process:
- Potentially suitable candidates will be called for a written test at the Biomedical Hub, PGIMER, Chandigarh, with the date to be notified later.
- The top three scoring candidates from the written test will be invited for an interview on the same day.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the written test or interview.
- Candidates appearing for the interview must bring the original application file and all documents submitted by email, along with one attested photocopy of the same.
Immediate Joining: Selected candidates are expected to join immediately.
