Junior Research Fellows (JRF)
- Vacancies: 13
- Qualifications: M.Sc./M.V.Sc in first division with NET qualification or M.Tech in first division at both Graduate and Post-graduate level.
- Specialization Areas: Animal Science/Veterinary Science/Zoology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Immunology, Botany/Environmental Science, Agriculture/Horticulture.
- Age Limit: 28 years (Relaxation for SC, ST & OBC as per Govt. orders)
Research Associate (RA)
- Vacancies: 1
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Agriculture Extension with at least one research paper in SCI journal.
- Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxation for SC, ST & OBC as per Govt. orders)
Stipend:
- JRF: Rs. 37,000/- + HRA per month, for an initial period of two years, extendable up to 5 years based on performance.
- RA: Rs. 67,000/- + HRA per month, for a maximum period of two years.

- Reporting Time: By 1000 hours
Documents Required:
- Certificates with respect to Date of Birth and Essential Qualification (Original and Self-attested copies).
- Neatly typed Bio-data.
- Documents supporting preferential experience for RA post, if applicable.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from present employer (if currently employed in Govt/Public Sector/Autonomous Bodies).
General Conditions:
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- The Fellowship/Associateship does not confer any right for absorption in DRDO.
- Candidates must be medically fit and willing to work in high altitude environmental conditions.
