RECRUITMENT NOTICE: CONSTABLE (EXECUTIVE)(IT) – CHANDIGARH POLICE
1. Overview:
Chandigarh Police invites online applications for 144 Temporary posts of Constable (Executive)(IT) under “IT Support” specialization. These Group “C” positions offer the pay scale of Central Pay Level-3 as per 7th CPC plus applicable allowances.

4. Eligibility Criteria:
- Age (as on 23.01.2024): 18-25 years (General), 18-28 years (OBC), 18-30 years (SC) with age relaxations applicable for various categories.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT-related fields or AMIE in Computer Science.
- Driving License: Mandatory for male candidates.
- Computer Skills: ICT course mandatory at entry level.
5. Application Fee:
- Unreserved & OBC: Rs. 1000/-
- SC & EWS: Rs. 800/-
- Ex-Servicemen: Exempted
6. Selection Process:
- Written Exam (Tier-I & Tier-II).
- Physical Efficiency & Measurement Test (PE&MT).
- Bonus marks for height and NCC Certificate holders.
7. Physical Standards:
- Male Height: 170cm (relaxable for certain categories).
- Female Height: 157.5cm (relaxable for certain categories).
- Male Chest: 84-88 cm (only applicable to males).
