The Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET) 2024, conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), is scheduled to take place on April 7, 2024. This test is organized for the recruitment of Assistant Professors in universities and colleges in Maharashtra and Goa. Here are the key details:
- Registration Dates: Online applications will be accepted from January 12, 2024, to January 31, 2024, without a late fee. With a late fee of Rs. 500, applications can be submitted from February 1, 2024, to February 7, 2024.
- Exam Pattern: The MH SET will consist of two papers, both objective type. Paper 1 will test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness, while Paper 2 will focus on the subject chosen by the candidate.
- Application Fee: General category candidates need to pay Rs. 800, whereas candidates from OBC/DT(A)(VJ)/NT(B)/NT©/NT(D)/SBC/SC/ST/Trans-gender/Orphan categories need to pay Rs. 650.
- Eligibility: Candidates must have completed their Master’s Degree/Post Graduation from a recognized university. The general category candidates require at least 55% marks, and reserved category candidates need 50% marks in their Master’s degree.
