The University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University, Chandigarh, has announced an employment opportunity for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). This role is associated with a project titled “Design and Fabrication of Active Transradial Bionic Prosthetic Arm,” funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.
Job Details:
- Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Number of Posts: 1
- Project Duration: 3 years or until the project concludes
- Appointment Nature: Temporary, initially for 2 years, extendable to 3 based on performance
- Fellowship: INR 31,000 per month + HRA for first two years, INR 35,000 per month + HRA thereafter
Qualifications:
- Essential: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology (Mech/CSE/IT/ECE/EEE/Biotech or allied branches)
- Preferred: Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET/GATE or national level examinations conducted by various government agencies and institutions
