Position and Vacancies: The recruitment is for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position, with a total of 7 vacancies available.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech degree in relevant fields like Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science & Engineering, all with first division and valid NET/GATE qualification. Alternatively, candidates can have an M.E./M.Tech degree in the same fields, also with first division at both the graduate and postgraduate levels.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 28 years as of the date of the walk-in interview. This limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Salary: The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 37,000 plus HRA as per prevailing rules.
Tenure: Initially, the tenure is for a period of two years, with the possibility of extension and/or upgradation as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) as per rules. The total tenure as JRF/SRF shall not exceed 5 years.
