Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Medical Candidates: MBBS with MD/MS/DM/M.Ch. in respective disciplines (as per Indian Medical Council Act 1956).
Dentistry: BDS and MDS.
Non-Medical Candidates: Master’s Degree and Doctorate Degree in the concerned specialty.
Experience Requirements:
- Professor: 14 years teaching/research experience after MD/MS (or 12 years after DM/M.Ch.); Non-Medical requires 14 years experience after Doctorate.
- Additional Professor: 10 years teaching/research experience after MD/MS (or 8 years after DM/M.Ch.); Non-Medical requires 10 years experience after Doctorate.
- Associate Professor: 6 years teaching/research experience after MD/MS (or 4 years after DM/M.Ch.); Non-Medical requires 6 years experience after Doctorate.
- Assistant Professor: 3 years teaching/research experience (or 1 year/no experience for certain super-specialty holders); Non-Medical requires 3 years experience.
Age Limit:
Professor: Not exceeding 58 years (as on closing date)
Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 years (as on closing date)
Associate Professor: Not exceeding 50 years (as on closing date)
Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 years (as on closing date)
Age Relaxation: As per government norms.
