Educational Qualification:
Passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any Central, State, or UT Govt. recognised School Board.
Must have proficiency in music (accuracy in tempo, pitch, singing, and notation).
Must be proficient in playing any one instrument from List A (Concert Flute, Piccolo, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Euphonium, Bass/Tuba) or List B (Keyboard, Organ, Piano, Guitar, Violin, Viola, String Bass, Percussion/Drums, or All Indian Classical Instruments).
Must possess a Musical Experience Certificate (Grade 5th or above) from a recognised music institute, OR a Diploma in music from a recognised university, OR a Certificate of participation/awards at various events.

Maximum Age: 22 years (as on date of enrolment)

Pay Scale:
- 1st Year: ₹ 30,000 per month (In-hand: ₹ 21,000)
- 2nd Year: ₹ 33,000 per month (In-hand: ₹ 23,100)
- 3rd Year: ₹ 36,500 per month (In-hand: ₹ 25,550)
- 4th Year: ₹ 40,000 per month (In-hand: ₹ 28,000)
Additional Benefits: Risk, Hardship, Dress, and Travel allowances; Seva Nidhi Package of approx. ₹ 10.04 Lakhs on exit after 4 years; Non-contributory Life Insurance cover of ₹ 48 Lakhs.
Selection Process

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Part I: 1.6 Km run (Male: within 7 minutes; Female: within 8 minutes).
Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Part II: Conducted 10 minutes after Part I.
