Overview
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), on behalf of Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Societies (KREIS), has released a recruitment notification for 1087 Teacher vacancies.
This recruitment drive includes 767 RPC and 320 Kalyana-Karnataka (KK) cadre posts across various subjects such as Kannada, English, Hindi, Mathematics, and Science. Interested candidates with relevant graduation degrees and B.Ed. qualifications must apply online before 13-08-2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Kannada: Graduation with Kannada as optional subject (Arts stream) or 4-year Kannada Pandith course + B.Ed.; or Bachelor’s degree with Kannada + PG degree in Kannada.
English: Graduation with English as optional subject (Arts) or PG diploma in English from Regional Institute of English South India + B.Ed. with English as method; or PG degree in English.
Hindi: Graduation with Hindi as optional subject + B.Ed.; or PG graduate degree with Hindi as major + B.Ed. with Hindi as method.
Mathematics: Graduation in Science with Mathematics and Physics as combined subjects + one additional optional subject + B.Ed. Science method.
Science: Graduation in Science with Chemistry and one of Botany, Zoology, or Biology + B.Ed. Science method.
General Requirements: Valid Karnataka TET Paper-2 or CTET certificate is required for all teaching posts. Kannada language proficiency is required for most positions.
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 45 years (General); 48 years (2A, 2B, 3A, 3B); 50 years (SC, ST, Cat-1) (as on 10-07-2026)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/Cat-1: Up to 50 years
- OBC (2A/2B/3A/3B): Up to 48 years
