The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC), Bihar Sarkar, Paryavaran, Van evam Jalvayu Parivartan Vibhag, has announced recruitment for 16 Forest Range Officer (Vanon ke Kshetra Adhikari) posts. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree with at least one subject from Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or Zoology; OR
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry, or Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent (as on 01-08-2025).

Selection Process
Written Competitive Examination: Consists of Paper 1 (General Hindi) and Paper 2 (General Studies). Marks from Paper 2 are used for merit.
Interview (Viva-Voce): Candidates shortlisted (6 times the number of vacancies) will undergo a 50-mark interview to assess personality and suitability.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Measurement: Qualifying in nature. Includes a walking test (25 km for men / 14 km for women within 4 hours) and specific height/chest measurement standards.
