Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Bachelors degree in Pharmacy Ayurveda from a recognized University/Institution; OR
Diploma in Pharmacy Ayurveda from a recognized University/Institution with approximately two years of experience as a pharmacist or compounder in Government, Local Body, Government Undertaking, Board, Corporation, or a Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013.
Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment General Rules 1967.
Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Salary / Pay Scale
- Pay Scale: Fixed pay of Rs. 40,800/- per month for the first 5 years; thereafter regular pay scale of Rs. 29,200/- to Rs. 92,300/- (Level-5, 7th Pay Commission) subject to satisfactory service.
Selection Process
Written Competitive Examination: A single-stage objective type MCQ examination conducted via CBRT (Computer Based Response Test) or OMR method.
Exam Structure: Total 210 Marks/Questions (Part-A: 90 Marks on Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Quant, Constitution, Current Affairs & Comprehension; Part-B: 120 Marks on Technical Ayurveda Pharmacist syllabus).
Merit List: Based on normalized marks obtained in the competitive examination (Note: 14 marks deducted for each wrong answer; minimum 40 marks required in both Part-A and Part-B).
