Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
For Sr. PP: Bachelors Degree in Law from a recognised University; 8 years experience in Prosecution of Criminal Cases; Holding analogous posts on regular basis OR 5 years service in Pay Band-3 Rs.15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs.5400 or equivalent.
For PP: Bachelors Degree in Law from a recognised University; 5 years experience in Prosecution of Criminal Cases; Holding analogous posts on regular basis OR 2 years service in Pay Band-3 Rs.9300-34,800 with Grade Pay Rs.4800 or equivalent.

Selection Process
Selection will be made on a deputation-cum-ISTC basis through the following steps:
Nominations of eligible officers must be forwarded through the proper channel along with all required documents.
The Selection Committee will assess the information provided in the Curriculum Vitae (CV) supported by documents regarding Essential Qualification and Work Experience.
Cadre Authorities must verify that the particulars sent by the officers are correct as per official records.
Note: Departmental officers in the feeder category in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for the Sr. PP post on deputation.
