Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess a Matriculation (10th) or equivalent certificate.
Indian citizenship is mandatory.
35% horizontal reservation for women is applicable only to original residents (Mool Niwasi) of Bihar State.

Selection Process
The selection process consists of two successive stages:
Stage 1: Written Competitive Examination: 100 marks (MCQ/Objective type, 2 hours). This stage is qualifying only; candidates must score at least 30% to proceed.
Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 100 marks. The final merit list will be prepared based solely on the marks obtained in the PET.
Tie-Break Rules:
- Date of Birth (older candidate preferred)
- Higher marks in qualifying exam (Intermediate/equivalent)
- Higher marks in prescribed minimum qualification
- Alphabetical order of names as written in the 10th Board Certificate
