Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
Written Examination (85% weightage): Objective MCQ-based test of 170 marks (Mathematics: 20, English: 20, General Knowledge: 100, Science: 30). Bengali/Kokborok (100 marks) is qualifying in nature with a minimum requirement of 40 marks.
Interview (15% weightage): 30 marks. Only candidates meeting the written test cut-off will be invited.
Physical Standard Test: Candidates must meet specific height and chest girth requirements based on category (e.g., Male General/SC: 163 cm height, 79 cm chest; Female UR/SC: 150 cm height, 74 cm chest).
Physical Test (Qualifying): Men must cover 25 km and women must cover 16 km on foot within 4 hours.
Medical Examination: Conducted by the Health Department, Government of Tripura, for candidates qualifying in the written test and interview. (Note: Persons with disabilities are not eligible).
