Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
A degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and speak in Bengali (not required for candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
Knowledge of Bengali will be tested during the Personality Test for candidates whose mother tongue is other than Bengali/Nepali.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2024):
Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age: 39 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST of West Bengal: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) of West Bengal: 3 years
- PwBD: Up to 45 years

The examination will be conducted in three successive stages:
Note: The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks of the Final Examination and the Personality Test. Preliminary marks will not be counted for final selection.
