The online recruitment portal will be open from 26.12.2023 to 15.01.2024 for registration, application submission, and payment of application fees.

Group ‘A’ Posts:
Scientist/Engineer-SC (Agriculture):
- Vacancies: 02 (UR)
- Qualification: M.Sc. in Agricultural Physics/Agricultural Meteorology/Agronomy or equivalent with a minimum of 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA on a 10-point scale. B.Sc. in Agriculture with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA is also required.
Scientist/Engineer-SC (Atmospheric Sciences and Oceanography):
- Vacancies: 03 (UR)
- Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics/Atmospheric Sciences/Meteorology/Ocean Sciences or equivalent with a minimum of 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA on a 10-point scale. B.Sc. in Physics/Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA is also necessary.
Scientist/Engineer-SC (Computer Science Engineering):
- Vacancies: 03 (UR)
- Qualification: M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering with Specialization in Image Processing/Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning/Computer Vision with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA/CPI grading on a 10-point scale. Additionally, a B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Engineering/Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology (IT) with a minimum of 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA/CPI grading is required.
Age Limit (as on 15.01.2024):
- For Post Codes 01 and 02: 18 – 28 years.
- For Post Code 03: 18 – 30 years.
Selection Process:
- Written Test: Different patterns for Post Codes 01/02 and 03.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisting based on written test performance.
Pay & Level in the Pay Matrix:
- Level 10 (₹56,100– ₹1,77,500), with additional allowances and benefits as per rules.
Application Fee:
- All candidates must pay an initial fee of ₹750, refundable to certain categories after appearing in the written test.
General Conditions:
- Indian nationals only.
- Temporary positions, but likely to continue.
- Posting initially in SAC, Ahmedabad or NRSC, Hyderabad, but can be anywhere in India as required.
