The U.P. Co-operative Institutional Service Board (UPCISB) has released the official notification for the UP Cooperative Bank Combined Co-operative Banking, Non-Banking and Technical Services Examination (General Recruitment) 2026.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 2085 vacancies for various positions including Manager, Assistant, Clerk, and Engineer across District Co-operative Banks and Co-operative Federations in Uttar Pradesh.

Junior Manager (Category-2)	Graduate degree in relevant discipline as prescribed for supervisory posts.
Assistant/Cashier (Banking/Clerical)	Graduation in any stream with working knowledge of computers.
Assistant Manager (Computer)	Graduate in Computer Science/IT or equivalent with recognized computer qualification.
Assistant Manager (General)	Graduation in any discipline; preference to banking/finance/management qualifications.
Assistant/Cashier (Category-3)	Graduate with basic computer knowledge/CCC or equivalent.
Assistant Manager (General)	Bachelor’s degree; preference for MBA or 3 years’ experience as Superintendent.
Accountant (Category-3)	B.Com or PG Diploma in Accountancy plus “O” Level Diploma in Computer Operation.
Assistant Accountant (Category-3)	B.Com (50% marks) with mandatory CCC, “O” Level, BCA, or equivalent from NIELIT.
Accounting Clerk (Category-3)	B.Com with minimum 50% marks and general knowledge of computers.
Assistant/Stenographer	Graduate with Hindi/English stenography (80/30 & 80/40 wpm) and CCC/higher certificate.
Stenographer (Category-3)	Graduate with shorthand speed 80 wpm and computer typing speed (30/40 wpm) plus CCC.
Junior Assistant (Category-3)	Graduate with typing speed (30 Hindi/40 English wpm) and CCC or “O” Level certificate.
Assistant/Typist (Category-3)	Graduate with typing speed (30 Hindi/40 English wpm) and CCC or higher certificate.
Clerk/Typist (Category-3)	Bachelor’s degree with typing speed (30 Hindi/40 English wpm) and CCC/“O” Level.
Assistant Engineer (Civil)	Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institution.
Assistant Engineer (Electrical)	Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
Junior Engineer (Civil)	Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Junior Engineer (Electrical)	Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Banking/Admin Posts: Graduation (B.Com, BBA, BBM, BBS, etc.) or specialized degrees as per post.
Technical Posts: Engineering Degree or Diploma in Civil/Electrical fields.
Computer Requirements: CCC, “O” Level, BCA, or equivalent certificates from NIELIT/recognized institutes are required for most clerical and technical roles.
Typing Skills: Specific Hindi and English typing/stenography speeds are required for Stenographer and Typist roles.

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 40 years (as on specified date)

Salary / Pay Scale

Pay Scale: Detailed pay scales are provided in the official notification based on respective pay bands for each post (Manager, Junior Manager, Assistant, Engineer, etc.).
Monthly Salary: Regular pay as per the respective co-operative institution’s rules; scales vary institution-wise and post-wise.

Selection Process

Step 1: Online Preliminary Examination (if required).
Step 2: Main Examination (Objective-type online test with MCQ and ¼ negative marking).
Step 3: Interview (up to 3 times the number of posts) and/or Proficiency Test (up to 5 times the number of posts) where applicable.

Complete the “New Registration” by entering your name, contact details, and email ID to generate a registration number and password.
Log in and fill out the online application form carefully using the “Save and Next” option.
Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and handwritten declaration.
Pay the application fee through the integrated online payment gateway.
Generate the e-Receipt and take a printout of the final submitted application form and fee receipt for future reference.
Ensure submission is completed before 15th May 2026.
