Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Junior Engineer (Civil): Minimum three years Diploma in Civil Engineering OR Degree in Civil Engineering with prescribed minimum percentage of marks.
Junior Engineer (Electrical): Minimum three years Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronic Engineering OR Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronic Engineering with prescribed minimum percentage of marks.
Experience (Mandatory):
- For Diploma holders: At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
- For Degree holders: At least 1-year post-qualification experience (or 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU) in the relevant field.

Salary / Pay Scale

Monthly Salary: Starting basic pay of ₹47,700/- per month; current approximate initial monthly Gross emoluments is ₹91,309/-.
Selection Process
Step 1: Online Examination: Objective test (300 marks) covering English Language, Engineering Discipline (Paper I & II), and General Intelligence and Reasoning.
Step 2: Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Testing of Official/Local Language/s of the concerned zone.
Step 3: Document Verification & Medical Examination: Final selection based on merit, LPT results, medical fitness, and certificate verification.
