Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Library Science or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
Must be a citizen of India and a domicile of the State of Odisha.
Must be able to speak, read, and write Odia and have passed Odia as a language subject in H.S.C. or equivalent (or passed M.E. standard Odia test).
Candidates with qualifications from outside Odisha must produce equivalence and affiliation certificates.
Government servants must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be conducted through a Written Test:
Written Test Format: 100 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) totaling 150 marks.
Duration: 2 hours.
Marking Scheme: 1.5 marks for every correct answer; 0.5 marks deducted for every incorrect answer.
Qualifying Marks: 40% for UR category and 30% for SC / ST / SEBC / PwD categories.
Tie-Breaking Rule: In case of a tie, aggregate percentage in Graduation will be considered; if still tied, the candidate with the earlier date of birth will be selected.
