Overview
The High Court of Karnataka has released the official notification for the recruitment of Civil Judges for 202/26. There are a total of 90 vacancies (15 fresh and 75 backlog) available for eligible candidates with a Law degree and three years of practice. The last date to submit your online application is 15th May 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Must hold a degree in law granted by a University established by law in India.
Must be practicing as an advocate for not less than three years continuously, OR must be working as a Public Prosecutor, Assistant Public Prosecutor, or Government Counsel for not less than three years.
Must be a Citizen of India.

Selection Process
Preliminary Examination: Objective Type (100 marks).
Main Written Examination: Includes Translation Paper, Law Paper-I, Law Paper-II, and Law Paper-III (100 marks each).
Viva-voce: 100 marks.
Computer Test: 25 marks (Qualifying nature only).
Note: Final selection is based on the aggregate marks of the Written Examination and Viva-voce. Candidates must also pass the Kannada Language Examination conducted by KPSC.

Complete the online registration process.
Fill out the application form with all required details, including personal information, educational qualifications, and practice details.
Upload necessary documents such as SSLC certificate (for DOB proof), Law Degree marks cards, Convocation certificates, Certificate of Practice, and Caste/Category certificates.
Pay the application fee through the SBI e-pay portal.
Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
Submit before 15th May 2026.
