Educational Qualification:
Paper-I (Classes I to V): Higher Secondary with 50 marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CTD.El.Ed) OR Higher Secondary with 45 marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 OR Higher Secondary with 50 marks + 4-year B.El.Ed OR Higher Secondary with 50 marks + 2-year Diploma in Education Special Education OR Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Graduation with 50 marks + B.Ed OR Post Graduation with 55 marks + 3-year Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed
Paper-II (Classes VI to VIII): Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CTD.El.Ed) OR 50 marks in Graduation or Post Graduation + B.Ed OR Graduation with 45 marks + 1-year B.Ed as per NCTE Regulations OR Higher Secondary with 50 marks + 4-year B.El.Ed OR Higher Secondary with 50 marks + 4-year B.A.B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed.B.Sc.Ed OR Graduation with 50 marks + 1 or 2-year B.Ed Special Education from NCTERCI recognized institution OR Post Graduation with 55 marks + 3-year Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed

Selection Process
- Written Examination: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)
- Paper-I: For candidates aspiring to teach Classes I to V (Category-A)
- Paper-II: For candidates aspiring to teach Classes VI to VIII (Category-B)
- Duration of each paper: 2½ hours
- Each question carries 1 mark; No negative marking
- Question papers in non-language subjects will be bilingual (Odia and English)
- Language-I options: Odia, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, Bengali (candidate to choose one)
- Language-II: English compulsory for all candidates
