Class 10th (Matric) pass from a recognized board for all posts.
For Constable Band (IRBn): Knowledge of playing band required.

Stage I: Written Examination (Objective Type MCQ) of 200 marks covering General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability and Test of English Language & Comprehension.
Stage II: Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Stage III: Trade Test / Medical Fitness (as applicable).
