The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) has invited applications for various support staff positions to work with Indian National Boxers during National Coaching Camps for Elite (Senior) Boxers. These positions are contractual in nature and selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India. They may also be required to travel in India and abroad for exposure programmes, tournaments, and championships.
BFI is the national governing body for boxing in India. It is recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), and is affiliated with World Boxing (WB).

Nature of Appointment
The appointments will be made on a contractual basis initially for one year. The tenure may be extended further depending upon suitability and performance assessment.
Salary / Remuneration
BFI has stated that suitable remuneration will be paid as per SAI norms. In deserving cases, higher salary may be allowed based on qualifications and prior experience.
Place of Posting
Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in the country and may also travel with the team in India and abroad.

Post-wise Detailed Information
1) Sports Physician / Team Doctor
Essential Qualification
Candidate must have:
MBBS degree from a Government recognized institution
Valid medical registration to practice in India
Government recognized postgraduate qualification in Sports Medicine, namely:
Valid registration in India for the postgraduate qualification as well
Important Condition
Online or distance learning qualifications will not be accepted as a substitute for the prescribed qualification.
Experience / Desirable Qualification
- Sports-specific experience at the elite level
- Preference for experience with national teams or high-performance athletes
- Additional relevant certifications for high-performance sport may be considered desirable
Main Duties
- Conduct annual comprehensive medical examinations of athletes at the start of National Coaching Camp
- Provide daily medical care and manage injuries and illnesses
- Coordinate scientific and physiological testing
- Act as head of the medical team and coordinate with strength & conditioning coach, physiotherapist, sports science experts, and masseurs
- Recommend nutritional supplements in consultation with the nutritionist and concerned officials
- Ensure compliance with NADA/WADA regulations and advise on prohibited substances and TUEs
- Submit periodic medical reports to BFI officials
- Perform other duties assigned by BFI/SAI

2) Sports Masseur / Masseuse
Essential Qualification
- SSC/HSSC (10th/12th Standard) from a recognized board
- Certificate in Sports Massage from a recognized university or institute
Important Condition
Online or distance learning degrees/diplomas will not be accepted.
Desirable Qualification
- Certification in Sports Massage Skill Development Course conducted by SAI / NIS
- Experience in Ayurvedic massage techniques relevant to sports recovery, subject to approval of Team Doctor
Main Duties
- Provide sports massage therapy to athletes under the supervision of the Team Doctor or Physiotherapist
- Assist in recovery protocols after training and competition
- Support medical and support staff in daily camp functioning

3) Sports Psychologist
Essential Qualification
- Postgraduate degree in Sports Psychology (MA/MSc)
or
- Postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology / Counselling Psychology / Developmental Psychology from a recognized university or institute
Additional Requirement
- Must be registered with a recognized professional body such as RCI or equivalent
- Must follow professional ethical standards

Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years professional experience
- Preferably with elite or high-performance athletes
- Preference for National or International level exposure
Main Duties
- Conduct structured group psychology sessions during camps
- Identify and address individual psychological issues
- Design mental skills training for focus, confidence, stress management, emotional regulation, and competition readiness
- Manage crises such as anxiety, burnout, and performance stress
- Carry out quarterly psychological assessments
- Maintain confidentiality of athlete records
- Perform other duties assigned by BFI/SAI

4) Video Analyst
Essential Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute
Important Condition
Online or distance learning degrees/diplomas will not be accepted.
Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years sports-specific experience
- Preference for boxing or combat sports experience
- Experience in high-performance sports environments such as National Teams, Elite Training Centres, or recognized sports organizations
- Knowledge of sports biomechanics, performance analysis, and data visualization
- Familiarity with elite-level sport systems and high-performance athletes
Desirable Skills
- Proficiency in video analysis software and video editing tools
- Strong understanding of boxing techniques, tactics, and competition strategies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Main Duties
- Record, tag, and analyze training sessions, sparring, and matches
- Identify technical, tactical, and strategic performance patterns
- Provide real-time analytical feedback and post-session reports
- Analyze opponent footage and develop scouting reports
- Measure metrics like punch accuracy, defensive efficiency, movement, and footwork
- Highlight strengths and weaknesses for individualized training interventions
- Ensure security and confidentiality of data and footage
- Stay updated with latest performance analytics tools

5) Administrative Coordinator
Essential Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute
- Proficiency in computer applications, MS Office, internet platforms, and data management systems
- Relevant experience in sports administration
- Experience in organizing National and/or International sporting events
- Familiarity with functioning and administrative processes of sports organizations such as National Sports Federations
Preference
Preference may be given to candidates with 10 years or more overall experience in sports-related administrative activities.
Main Duties
- Coordinate with Sports Federation for administrative and operational activities
- Liaise with State Sports Associations, SAI, and Government organizations
- Maintain administrative records, correspondence, and basic financial documentation
- Handle athlete accreditation, registration, visa applications, and eligibility documentation
- Manage day-to-day camp administration, logistics, and documentation
- Manage tender proposals for procurements in BFI
- Assist in planning and conducting championships
- Ensure timely circulation of circulars and official communications

Essential Qualification

Degree in Sports Management from a recognized university or institute
Proficiency in MS Office, internet usage, and data management systems
Relevant experience in sports-related activities including:
Familiarity with sports organizations such as National Sports Federations, State Associations, and SAI
Preference
Preference will be given to candidates having more than 5 years experience in sports-related activities.
Main Duties
- Plan, organize, and implement national camps for elite athletes
- Assist in ACTC budget preparation, monitoring, and utilization
- Coordinate National camp evaluation and athlete ranking process
- Maintain statistical and performance-related athlete data
- Track performance indicators and development progress of athletes
- Coordinate with media and communication team
- Support sports promotion and development initiatives
- Assist in conducting championships
- Coordinate with sports bodies and agencies including grassroots talent identification
- Conduct assessment and gap analysis of infrastructure and manpower at training centres
- Support long-term athlete development strategies
- Provide support to High Performance Director
