Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in relevant discipline (Chemical, Petrochemical, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) with a minimum of 65% marks for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 60% for SC/ST/PwBD.
Candidates must have completed their degree by 2025 or be in the final year (2025-26).
Valid registration and appearance in GATE-2026 in relevant papers (CH/IN/EE/ME) is mandatory.

Selection Process
Shortlisting based on GATE-2026 marks in the relevant discipline.
Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates.
Alternative assessment (Case Study/Writing exercise) for specific PwBD categories where GD is not conducted.
Minimum qualifying marks in Interview: 60% for UR/OBC/EWS, 55% for SC/ST, and 50% for PwBD.
Medical fitness examination at Central/State Government Hospital or GAIL empanelled hospital.
