M.Sc. Computer Science, MCA, BE/B.Tech. Computer Science/IT with 55% marks, Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2 B.A./M.A. with Hindi
HTET/STET qualified
Good academic record

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 42 years (as on March 9, 2026)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD: As per HPSC rules

Application Fee

General/OBC (DESM UR Category): ₹1000
SC/ST/PwBD/Women/EWS candidates of Haryana & DSC, OSC, BC-A (Non Creamy Layer), BC-B (Non Creamy Layer) & ESM: ₹250
PwBD (at least 40% disability): NIL

Salary / Pay Scale

Pay Scale: Rs.47,600-1,51,100-
Monthly Salary: Approximately Rs.98,350 (Based on pay scale)

Selection Process

Screening Test:
- Total MCQs: 100
- Time: 2 hours
- Marks: 100
- Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer and for not darkening any of the five circles in more than 10 questions.
- Minimum Cut-off: 25 marks
Subject Knowledge Test:
- Time: 3 hours
- Marks: 150
- Minimum Cut-off: 35 marks
InterviewViva-Voce:
- Weightage: 12.5%
Final Selection: The final merit list will be prepared by adding the marks of the Subject Knowledge Test and InterviewViva-Voce.
