Selection Process
No Written Test.
Selection will be based on the percentage of marks aggregate of all subjects/years/semesters obtained in the prescribed qualification.
Preference will be given to candidates applying for apprenticeship training for the first time.
In case of a tie in marks, the older candidate by date of birth will be preferred. If dates of birth are also same, candidates with higher Matriculation marks will be considered.
Candidates shortlisted based on merit and number of seats will be called for Document Verification.
Candidates selected as apprentices must fulfill minimum physical fitness standards as per the Apprentices Act.
Only candidates declared fit in the pre-engagement medical examination will be considered for engagement.

- Visit the IOCL website www.iocl.com between February 7, 2026 and February 20, 2026.
- Ensure you have a valid and active Apprentice Registration/Enrolment Number registered on NAPSNATS portal with a 100% updated profile.
- Apply for apprenticeship in only one trade/discipline of your choice.
- For Post Codes 102, 103, and 109: Register on the NAPS portal (https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).
- For Post Codes 105, 106, and 107: Register on the NATS portal (https://nats.education.gov.in).
- Submit your details in the Microsoft/google Form via the link provided.
- Ensure all details match those in NAPSNATS.
