Roles & Responsibilities
System Maintenance & Support
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of VSK hardware, network, and software systems
- Regular system health checks and performance monitoring
Data Management & Integration
- Support in data extraction, cleaning, uploading, and integration from education platforms such as:
- Ensure smooth data flow between MIS systems and analytics dashboards
Dashboard & Application Support
- Maintain VSK dashboards and data visualization tools
- Ensure real-time data accuracy
- Support development and testing of new digital tools and dashboards
Technical Assistance
- Coordinate with district and block-level offices to resolve data entry and access issues
- Provide basic training to users on digital systems and tools
Security & Backup
- Ensure data security protocols, backup, and recovery processes
- Monitor firewall, antivirus, and system security compliance
Coordination
- Liaise with software developers, network engineers, and IT service providers

Essential Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / IT / Electronics & Communication Engineering
OR
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
Experience Requirement
Minimum 5 years in design and delivery of IT solutions, software development, and MIS
At least 1 year experience in IT/ICT implementation for:
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of Web Services (REST, SOAP, APIs)
Knowledge of Sunbird open-source applications
Proficiency in:
LAMP / .NET / MEAN stacks
Programming: .NET, Python, R, Shell Script, open-source technologies
Preferred Technology: .NET
