Vacancy Details
1. Emergency Medical Officer (NHM)
Number of Posts: 1
Category: OBC (Backlog)
Consolidated Salary: ₹72,072 per month
Essential Qualification:
MBBS degree from a recognized university with one year compulsory rotatory internship.
Registration with State Medical Council or Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi.
One house job (6 months) in any department or minimum six months post-qualification experience.
Preferential Qualification:
Experience in Casualty Department of a recognized hospital.
CCC+ (Course on Computer Concepts Plus) – 120 hours.
Posting may be at any health facility or under any National Health Programme.

Category: 1 SC (Backlog), 1 OBC (Backlog)
Consolidated Salary: ₹72,072 per month
Essential Qualification:
MBBS degree with compulsory rotatory internship.
Registration with State Medical Council or MCI, New Delhi.
One house job (6 months) or minimum six months post-qualification experience.
Preferential Qualification:
Experience in Gynaecology & Obstetrics / Pediatrics department of a recognized hospital.
CCC+ (120 hours).

Consolidated Salary: ₹72,072 per month
Essential Qualification:
MBBS degree with compulsory rotatory internship.
Registration with State Medical Council or MCI, New Delhi.
One house job (6 months) or minimum six months post-qualification experience.
Preferential Qualification:
CCC+ (120 hours).

Essential Qualification:
MBBS degree with compulsory rotatory internship.
Registration with State Medical Council or MCI, New Delhi.
One house job (6 months) or minimum six months post-qualification experience.
Preferential Qualification:
MD in Pulmonary Medicine / Internal Medicine / TB & Chest Disease / Community Medicine
or Master in Public Health.
Minimum one year experience in NTEP.
Basic knowledge of computers and Nikshay portal.

Essential Qualification:
MBBS degree with compulsory rotatory internship.
Registration with State Medical Council or MCI, New Delhi.

Age Limit
Maximum age limit for all posts is up to 60 years.
Existing Medical Officers working on contractual basis under NHM, U.T. Chandigarh are also eligible to apply.

Important Notes on Reserved Categories
Backlog posts of SC/OBC categories under NHM and PM-ABHIM have been advertised multiple times earlier.
If no suitable SC/OBC candidate appears for interview this time as well, these posts will be filled from General Category on conditional basis up to 31.03.2027.
SC/OBC claims will be considered only if supported by valid certificates issued by the competent authority.
Only OBC candidates falling under the OBC State List of U.T. Chandigarh as notified by the Social Welfare Department, Chandigarh Administration, will be eligible.

Contract Period
Appointments will be on contract basis initially up to 31.03.2027, extendable depending upon performance, conduct, or project duration.

Documents Required
Candidates must submit:
Bio-data in prescribed application format (available on website).
Self-attested copies of all certificates/testimonials from matriculation onwards.
One recent passport size photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
Original certificates must be produced at the time of interview.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
