Age, Salary & Experience
Senior Advisor
Age Limit: 40 to 52 years
SC/OBC Age Limit: up to 57 years
Minimum Experience: 18 years
Consolidated Salary: ₹3,30,000 per month

Advisor
Age Limit: 35 to 50 years
SC/OBC Age Limit: up to 55 years
Minimum Experience: 15 years
Consolidated Salary: ₹2,65,000 per month
Age and experience are calculated as on the last date of application.
Ex-Servicemen Age Relaxation:
Military service period is deducted from actual age, with permissible relaxation up to 3 years beyond the upper age limit.

Minimum Educational Qualification (Common for Both Posts)
- Master’s Degree
OR
- Post Graduate Diploma / Executive PGP (minimum 1 year)
OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 4 years of study after 10+2
Professional degrees of minimum 5 years duration after 10+2 such as MBBS, LLB, BA+LLB, CA, CS (registered with professional bodies) are treated as equivalent to a Master’s degree.

Clarifications on Work Experience
- Overlapping education and work experience will not be counted
- Internship overlapping with a degree is not counted
- PhD duration and concurrent work experience cannot both be counted
- Private practice (lawyers, doctors, CA, consultants) is accepted on self-certification
- Volunteer work is counted only if exceeding 1 year with proper documentation

Job Description
Senior Advisor
- Provide strategic leadership across multiple sectors
- Guide policy formulation and execution at the state level
- Lead and mentor Advisors
- Represent PDC in high-level government, inter-ministerial, and international forums
- Build and strengthen institutional partnerships
- Oversee evidence-based policy research and impact assessment
- Advise leadership using data-driven evaluations

Advisor
- Lead a specific sector/vertical end-to-end
- Report to Senior Advisor and Member, PDC
- Manage Deputy Advisors, Joint Advisors, and Research Fellows
- Conduct sectoral policy research and analysis
- Engage with government departments, civil society, and industry
- Provide economic, fiscal, and macro-policy inputs
- Support policy design, implementation, and monitoring

Educational Qualification – 20 marks

Interview – 40 marks
A merit list will be prepared. A waiting panel (up to 40%) will remain valid for 6 months.

Duration of Engagement
- Initial contract: 1 year
- Extendable annually up to maximum 3 years
- Extension subject to Annual Performance Review (KPI-based)

Service Conditions (Key Highlights)
- Contractual engagement only
- No DA, HRA, accommodation, medical allowance, or leave encashment
- 12 days leave per year (pro-rata)
- Annual increment of 5% based on performance
- Travel reimbursement as per Government of India rules
- One-month notice for termination by either side
- Police verification mandatory
- All professionals treated as public servants
