Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), a premier shipbuilding company under the Ministry of Defence, has announced the recruitment of 220 Apprentices including Trade Apprentice Ex-ITI, Trade Apprentice Fresher, Graduate Apprentice, and Technician Apprentice for the training year 2025-26. Eligible candidates can apply online from December 20th, 2025 to January 10th, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Trade Apprentice Ex-ITI: Passed AITT with NTC from NCVT in respective trade.
Trade Apprentice Fresher: Passed Class 10th or Madhyamik from a recognized Board.
Graduate Apprentice: Degree in Engineering/Technology passed in 2023, 2024, or 2025.
Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering passed in 2023, 2024, or 2025.
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 14 years
Maximum Age:
- Trade Apprentice Ex-ITI: Up to 25 years (born on or after December 1st, 2000)
- Trade Apprentice Fresher: Up to 20 years (born on or after December 1st, 2005)
- Graduate/Technician Apprentice: Up to 26 years (born on or after December 1st, 1999)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 3 years
- OBC (NCL): 2 years
- PwBD: As per Government rules

Salary / Pay Scale
- Monthly Stipend:
- Trade Apprentice Fresher: ₹8,200 to ₹9,020 per month (Kolkata)
- Trade Apprentice Ex-ITI: ₹9,600 or ₹10,560 per month (Kolkata and Ranchi)
- Graduate Apprentice: ₹15,000 or ₹12,500 per month (Kolkata and Ranchi)
- Technician Apprentice: ₹10,900 per month (Kolkata and Ranchi)
