Overview
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) is offering 45,000 Home Guard vacancies for the year 2025-26. The key requirement includes a Matriculation qualification with an age limit of 18 to 30 years. Applications can be submitted until December 17, 2025.

Salary / Pay Scale
- Pay Scale: Basic Salary: ₹ 20,200 per month (Level 3, 7th CPC). Additional Allowances include Dearness Allowance, Travel Allowance, Special Duty Allowance, and Uniform Allowance as per UP Government norms.
Selection Process
Written Examination: 150 questions, 300 marks, 2 hours with negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
- Male: Height ≥ 168 cm, Chest 78-83 cm, 1600m run in ≤ 6.5 min, 10 push-ups in 1 min.
- Female: Height ≥ 152 cm, 800m run in ≤ 5.5 min, 2.5m long jump.
Document Verification: Verification of educational, age, and caste certificates.
Medical Examination: To ensure medical fitness for Home Guard duties.
