KVS LDE/LDCE Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 2499 Teaching & Non-Teaching Posts
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released the official notification for Limited Departmental Examination (LDE) / Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) 2025 for filling 2499 Teaching and Non-Teaching posts. Eligible existing KVS employees can apply online through the official website.
The online application process starts on 12 December 2025 and will remain open till 26 December 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
General Eligibility
• Recruitment is only for serving KVS employees
• Candidates can apply for only one post
• Eligibility will be determined as on 01.01.2026

Educational Qualification – Teaching Posts
Principal
Minimum 03 years of regular service in KVS in the grade with Master’s Degree as per NCTE norms.
Vice-Principal
PRT/TGT with at least 05 years of regular service in KVS with Master’s Degree and minimum 65% marks as per KVS rules.

PGT (All Subjects)
From amongst TGTs with minimum 03 years regular service.
Essential Qualification (any one):
• Four-year Integrated Degree from NCTE recognized institution with minimum 50% marks including B.Ed component
OR
• Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed from NCTE recognized institution
OR
• Three-year Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed from NCTE recognized institution with minimum 50% marks
Candidate must have studied the concerned subject at Graduation level wherever applicable.

TGT (All Subjects)
From amongst PRTs with minimum 05 years regular service.
Essential Qualification (any one):
• Four-year Integrated Degree from NCTE recognized institution with minimum 50% marks including B.Ed component
OR
• Bachelor’s Degree in concerned subject with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed
OR
• Three-year Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed with minimum 50% marks
OR
• One-year B.Ed (Special Education) from RCI with minimum 50% marks
Additional Mandatory Conditions:
• CTET Paper-II qualification
• Ability to teach through English and Hindi medium
Note: Candidates with B.Ed (Special Education) must undergo a 6-month Special Programme in Elementary Education after appointment.

Head Master
Primary Teachers with minimum 05 years regular service and CTET Paper-I qualification.
Finance Officer
• Section Officer with 01 year regular service and Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce
OR
• Assistant Section Officer with 04 years regular service and qualification in Commerce/Economics/ICWA/MBA (Finance)
Section Officer
Minimum 03 years regular service as Assistant Section Officer / Steno Grade-II / UDC Senior Scale.
Assistant Section Officer / Senior Secretariat Assistant
Minimum 03 years regular service in KVS.
Junior Secretariat Assistant
Sub-staff with minimum 03 years regular service in KVS.

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)
Age and service eligibility will be calculated as per KVS rules for LDE/LDCE.
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST – 5 years
OBC – 3 years
PwBD – As per Government norms
Internal candidates – As per service rules

Salary Details
Salary will be as per 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix.
Additional allowances such as DA, HRA and other admissible allowances will be applicable as per Government rules.

Selection Process
Selection will be through LDE/LDCE Examination consisting of:
Tier-I: Written Examination
• Subject Knowledge Test
• Pen-Paper / OMR based
• Duration: 2½ hours
• Marks: 40
Tier-II: Interview / Screening Test
• Marks: 60
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
GEN/OBC/EWS – 35%
SC/ST/PwBD – 33%
Selection will be based on seniority-cum-qualifying marks.
For Finance Officer and Section Officer, final merit will be based on written test and interview (100 marks).
For ASO, SSA and JSA, selection will be based on written examination only.

- Get it verified and signed by the Controlling Officer
- Complete hardcopy verification by 09 January 2026
No changes will be allowed after final submission.
