Advertisement for Contractual Positions: Senior Consultant and Assistant Technical (Software Development)

The Punjab Transparency and Accountability Commission (PB-TRAC) invites applications from eligible candidates for the following contractual posts. These positions are focused on strengthening transparency, governance, and digital reforms in public service delivery across Punjab.

1. Senior Consultant
Number of Posts: 1
Monthly Salary: Rs. 1,20,000
Educational Qualification:
Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute.
Additionally, the candidate must have completed a certificate course in Public Policy, Management, IT, or Governance.
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience.
At least 3 years of mandatory experience must be in government projects related to public service delivery reforms, policy execution, governance improvement, or administrative reforms.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Support PB-TRAC in designing and implementing governance and policy reforms.
- Assist in evaluating public service delivery processes and recommending improvements.
- Conduct studies, prepare reports, and assist in capacity-building initiatives.
- Coordinate with government departments, stakeholders, and field teams.
- Provide strategic advisory inputs for transparency and accountability initiatives.

2. Assistant Technical (Software Development)
Number of Posts: 1
Monthly Salary: Rs. 45,000
Educational Qualification:
B.E., B.Tech, or MCA in Computer Science / Information Technology from a recognized institution.
Experience Required:
3 to 6 years of experience in full-stack software development, database management, and modern web technologies.
Technical Skills (as per notification):
- Web development using frameworks and tools such as React.js and Node.js
- Backend/API development
- Database design and management (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Experience in .NET or similar server-side technologies
- Ability to work on end-to-end software development lifecycle including testing and deployment
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain PB-TRAC software applications.
- Build APIs, dashboards, and modules for data analytics and reporting.
- Ensure smooth functioning of databases and online service applications.
- Assist the technical team during audits, enhancements, and system upgrades.
- Troubleshoot issues and contribute to improving digital transparency initiatives.
