Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Ph.D. in the respective discipline with First Class or equivalent in preceding degrees (M.Tech, B.E., B.Tech, etc.)
Candidates with a Ph.D. obtained directly after B.E./B.Tech are eligible if they have First Class at Bachelor’s level.
Age Limit:
Minimum Age: 35 years
Maximum Age:
- Assistant Professor Grade II: 35 years
- Assistant Professor Grade I: 40 years
- Associate Professor: 45 years
- Professor: 50 years (as on December 12, 2025)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD: 5 years
