Educational Qualification & Experience
Essential Qualification
Candidate must possess ANY of the following with First Division from a recognized University:
- MBA (Finance)
- M.Sc
- Post Graduation in Statistics
- Post Graduation in Economics
- Post Graduation in Public Policy
- Post Graduation in Social Work
Additional Requirements
- Basic knowledge of IT is mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Selection Process
The selection will be based on Test + Interview.
Written Tests (Total 100 Marks)
- Aptitude Test – 50 Marks
- Data Analytical Skill Test – 50 Marks
➡️ Minimum Passing Marks:
- 20 marks in Aptitude Test
- 20 marks in Data Analytical Skill Test
Candidates will be ranked purely on merit, based on combined scores.
No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in Test or Interview.

Job Responsibilities & Terms of Engagement
Contract Period
- Purely contractual for 1 year
- May be extended for 6 months or 1 year based on performance
- No right to claim regularization
- Immediate joining required
Remuneration
- ₹65,000 per month
- 7% annual increment (only if performance is rated “Very Good”)
- No increment for unsatisfactory performance
Termination Clause
Either side may terminate with 1-month notice
Consultant may resign by:
Can be terminated without notice for misconduct, inefficiency, or change in institutional requirements
Leave Rules
- 1 Casual Leave per month
- Unused CL can be carried forward within the same calendar year only
- No other leave is permitted
- LWP may be granted only in exceptional circumstances at HOD’s discretion
Other Conditions
- No other employment or private practice allowed
- Consultant may be deputed anywhere in Chandigarh or outside
- May be required to work on holidays/odd hours with no extra remuneration
- Not treated as regular service and offers no claim for permanent employment
- Contract governed by Chandigarh Administration’s rules for contractual appointments
- Candidates already deployed through SPIC are not eligible
