Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Model Hospital, Chandigarh invites eligible candidates for a Walk-in Interview for the posts of Full-Time/Part-Time Specialists and Senior Residents on a contractual basis.

🔹 1. Full-Time/Part-Time Specialists (Contract for 3 Years)
(Extendable annually or till regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.)

Qualification:
- Degree/DNB or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience after Post-Graduate Degree/DNB or 5 years’ experience after Diploma.
- Must be registered with Central/State Medical Council.
Age Limit:
Not exceeding 67 years as on the date of interview.
Pay & Allowances:
- Full-Time Specialist (Junior Specialist): ₹67,700 (Level-11) + allowances (approx. ₹1.45 lakh/month gross).
- Part-Time Specialist: ₹60,000/month + ₹15,000 for emergency call duty + ₹800/hour for work beyond 16 hours/week.

Qualification:
- MBBS with PG Degree/DNB/Diploma in concerned specialty from a recognized university.
- Must be registered with Central/State Medical Council.
- If no PG/Diploma candidates are available, MBBS candidates with 2 years’ experience in the concerned specialty may be considered.
Age Limit:
Not exceeding 45 years as on date of interview.
(Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen as per Government rules.)
Pay & Allowances:
- Basic Pay ₹67,700/- (Level-11, Grade Pay ₹6600) as per 7th CPC + usual ESIC allowances.
- ₹1,350 deduction if holding only Diploma, and ₹2,250 deduction if no PG/Diploma degree.

⚙️ Terms & Conditions
The Medical Superintendent reserves the right to alter or cancel the recruitment process without notice.
Number of vacancies may vary.
If 3-year Senior Residents are not available, candidates may be engaged for 39 days (extendable) to meet urgent requirements.
Reservations apply as per Government of India rules.
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing or joining.

A refundable security deposit of ₹50,000/- via DD/Banker’s Cheque (in favor of ESIC A/c No. 1, payable at Chandigarh) must be submitted at joining.

Private practice is prohibited; NPA is included in salary.
No benefits like PF, Pension, Gratuity, or Seniority.
Reservation certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD) must follow Government of India formats and validity norms.
