- MD/MS/DNB/M.Ch./DM or equivalent in the concerned specialty (recognized by MCI) and registered with MCI/NMC or State Medical Council.
- Not eligible if completed 3 years Senior Residency already.
Demonstrator / Medical Officer / EMO / LMO
- MBBS (PG diploma/degree holders preferred), OR M.Sc. (Medical) in the concerned specialty for non-medical Demonstrator from a recognized Medical Institute/Faculty.
- In Anatomy, Biochemistry & Physiology, non-medical teachers may be appointed up to 15% of total posts if medical teachers are unavailable.
Junior Resident (MBBS & BDS)
- MBBS/BDS, registered with State Medical Council/MCI/NMC/DCI.
- Internship: The candidate who has already completed / likely to complete one-year rotatory internship by 31/12/2025 is eligible.
- Not eligible if one-year JR already completed in the past.

Selection Process
- Single written test for PG candidates applying across multiple SR departments in the same PG specialty; one merit considered across all chosen departments.
- Common merit list for MBBS pool (Demonstrator/MO/LMO/EMO/JR-MBBS) and separate for BDS (JR-BDS).
- Shortlisted candidates (as per merit) will be called for interview.
- Document verification at interview: All originals + one set of self-attested copies; NOC mandatory if serving in Govt/Semi-Govt/PSU/Autonomous body, else not allowed to appear.
- e-Admit Cards and the provisional eligibility list will be hosted on www.gmch.gov.in (no postal dispatch).
