Categories and Stipend
Graduate Apprentices:
- Disciplines: Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Instrumentation Technology Engineering.
- Total Vacancies: 325
- Monthly Stipend: ₹9,008
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- Disciplines: Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering.
- Total Vacancies: 75
- Monthly Stipend: ₹8,000
Requisite Qualification
- Graduate Apprentices: BE/B.Tech in the relevant disciplines.
- Technician Apprentices: 3-year Diploma in relevant disciplines.
Both qualifications must be recognized by AICTE or State/Central Government.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have completed their degree/diploma on or after February 2019.
- Applicants should not have previously undergone apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 or have one year of work experience.
- The minimum age limit is 18 years.
Physical Standards
Candidates need to meet specific physical standards and provide a medical fitness certificate issued by a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon.
Selection Procedure
Selection will be based on the marks secured in qualifying examinations. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email for document verification at BESCOM, Bengaluru.
