Qualifications and Age Limits
The minimum age requirement is up to 32 years as of September 1, 2025. Age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD categories as per government norms.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Assistant Manager PS - Probationer: Full-time 4-year B.E./B.Tech., Integrated M.Tech., Dual-degree B.Tech.-M.Tech., or B.Sc.-B.Tech.
- Assistant Manager Civil - Probationer: Full-time 4-year B.E./B.Tech. in Civil/Construction Engineering from UGC/AICTE recognized universities/IITs/NITs.
- Assistant Manager HRA - Probationer: Graduation with full-time 2-year MBA/MHRM or Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management/IRHR from UGC/AICTE recognized universities/IIMs/XLRI/IIT B-schools.
- Safety Officer: Graduate in Engineering/Technology with 2 years of supervisory experience, Honours graduate in Physics/Chemistry with 5 years of experience, or Diploma in Engineering with 5 years of relevant factory roles.
- Operation & Maintenance Supervisor Probationer: Full-time diploma or lateral entry diploma in the relevant discipline.
- Chemist - Probationer: B.Sc. (Honours) Chemistry.
- Draughtsman: Madhyamik or equivalent with a 2-year trade certificate in Draughtsman Civil/Mechanical.
- Office Executive: Graduation with 50% aggregate marks or Honours in any discipline.
- Operator & Technician Probationer: Madhyamik or equivalent with a 2-year trade certificate/Broad Based Basic Training (BBBT).
- Assistant Teacher High School: Honours graduate/Masters in relevant subject with 50 marks, B.Ed., or B.P.Ed. from NCTE/UGC recognized institutes.
- Librarian: Graduation with a degree in Library Science.
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹1,000 for UR/EWS/OBC candidates and exempted for SC/ST/PWD/WBPDCL Contractor Workers/Departmental Candidates.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): For all posts.
- Class Demonstration Test (CDT): For Assistant Teacher posts.
- Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): For Office Executive posts.
- Personal Interview: For all posts.
CBT Exam Structure
The Computer Based Test will consist of the following components:
- General Aptitude, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation: 20 marks, 20 questions.
- Technical/Professional Knowledge relevant to qualifying degree: 70 marks, 70 questions.
- Bengali/Nepali Language Proficiency: 10 marks, 10 questions.
