The Government of Maharashtra is inviting applications for the recruitment of 903 Land Surveyors under the Bhumi Abhilekh scheme. Qualifications
To be eligible for the position of Land Surveyor, candidates must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic or an ITI with a two-year full-time vocational training certificate in the relevant trade after passing SSC. In addition to educational requirements, applicants are required to have government-recognized certificates for Marathi typing at 30 words per minute (w.p.m.) and English typing at 40 w.p.m., or obtain such certifications within two years of their appointment.
Age Limit
The age limit for the recruitment is between 18 to 38 years. However, candidates from Backward Categories and Ex-Servicemen may avail themselves of age relaxation as per Government rules.
Selection Process
The selection process comprises three stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Candidates who successfully clear each stage will be considered for the final list of selections.

- Open Category: ₹ 1,000
- Backward Categories: ₹ 900
