Bihar Police CID Recruitment 2025
The Central Industrial Division (CID) of Bihar Police is inviting applications for the recruitment of Assistant Director and Senior Scientific Assistant positions. The total number of vacancies available is 189, with 89 slots for Assistant Directors and 100 slots for Senior Scientific Assistants.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
The age limit for both Assistant Director and Senior Scientific Assistant posts is 21 to 65 years as on October 1, 2025. Age relaxation will be provided as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have a Master’s degree (M.Sc. or M.Tech.) in the following relevant streams:
- Chemistry: M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Forensic Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or Toxicology.
- Physics: M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Forensic Science, Physics, or Mathematics; or B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science, Electronics, or Instrumentation with one year of specialization.
- Biology: M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Forensic Science, Biology, Botany, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics, or Molecular Biology.
- Psychology: M.Sc., M.Tech., or M.A. with specialization in Psychology or Clinical Psychology.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
- Written Exam
- Interview
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination

All candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹ 100 through online mode.
