IIT Madras has announced the recruitment for various Non-Teaching positions. Interested candidates can apply online from September 27, 2025, to October 26, 2025, up to 5:30 PM IST. The detailed notification is available on the official website.
Vacancy Details
The following positions are open for application:
- Deputy Registrar: Masters degree with at least 55 marks and five years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar in Level 10 or equivalent.
- Senior Technical Officer: M.E./M.Tech in relevant Engineering with 55 marks and five years of experience in Level 10 OR B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. with 55 marks and eight years of experience in Level 10.
- Executive Engineer (Electrical): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 55 marks and eight years of experience as Assistant Executive Engineer in Level 10.
- HVAC Officer: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 60 marks and fifteen years of service in the relevant field. Desirable: Experience in AC, chiller plants, Building Management Systems (BMS), or Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Technical Officer: Masters in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy with 55 marks and five years of experience in medical devices OR Bachelors degree with 55 marks and eight years of experience. Desirable: MBA, project management.
- Assistant Registrar: Masters degree with 55 marks and eight years of relevant supervisory experience. Desirable: Professional qualification in Management/Finance, computer knowledge.
- Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical): M.E./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 55 marks and five years of experience OR B.E./B.Tech with 55 marks and eight years of experience.
- Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/HVAC): Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering with 60 marks and two years of experience OR Three-year Diploma with 60 marks and five years of experience.
- Junior Assistant: Bachelors degree in Arts/Science/Humanities/Commerce with 60 marks and knowledge of computer operations.
Age Limit
The age limit for all positions is up to 50 years, except for the Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/HVAC) position, where no specific age limit has been mentioned.
