EMRS Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025
The Eastern Maharashtra Region Services (EMRS) invites applications for non-teaching positions through its recruitment process. A total of 1620 vacancies are available across various posts in any EMRS location throughout India.
Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
Applicants must meet the minimum educational qualifications as specified below:
- Hostel Warden (Male/Female): Four years integrated graduation degree from NCTE recognized institution or a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university/ institute.
- Female Staff Nurse: B.Sc. Hons. Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University/ Institute; registration as Nurse or Nurse Midwife with 2.5 years of experience in a 50-bedded hospital.
- Accountant: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from a recognized university/institute.
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Senior Secondary Class XII from a recognized board with typing speed of 35 wpm English or 30 wpm Hindi.
- Lab Attendant: 10th class pass certificate/diploma in Laboratory Technique, or 12th class with science from a recognized board/institute.
Age limits vary by post:
- Hostel Warden and Female Staff Nurse: Up to 35 years
- Accountant, JSA, Lab Attendant: Up to 30 years
Additional age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years), Ex-Servicemen (as per rules), and EMRS employees (up to 55 years).
Selection Process
The selection process includes the following stages:
- Tier-I: Preliminary Qualifying Exam based on OMR multiple-choice questions.
- Tier-II: Main exam with OMR-based objective and descriptive sections.
- For JSA, a typing test will also be conducted along with document verification.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹1000 for General/OBC/EWS categories. Female applicants, SC/ST/PwBD candidates do not need to pay any application fees. A processing fee of ₹500 is applicable for all categories. Payment can be made through online methods such as Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

- Fill Part-A with generic particulars and Part-B for post-specific details.
- Upload required documents including photograph, signature, date of birth proof, educational certificates, category certificate if applicable, PwBD certificate (if eligible), and experience proof for Staff Nurse positions.
- Pay the application fee through online payment gateway if applicable.
