Border Roads Organisation Recruitment 2025
The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has announced a recruitment drive for the year 2025 to fill 542 vacancies across various posts. The positions include Vehicle Mechanic and MSW Painter DES, among others. Interested candidates who meet the specified criteria are encouraged to apply before the last date of submission.
Important Qualifications
- Vehicle Mechanic: Candidates must possess a Matriculation Certificate in a relevant trade from ITI, ITCNCTC, or an equivalent institution. They must also demonstrate proficiency in the trade test and meet the physical medical standards as per BRO guidelines.
- MSW Painter DES: Applicants are required to have passed matriculation with proficiency test results in their respective trades along with satisfactory physical tests and must conform to the physical medical standards set by BRO.
Age Limit
The age limit for all posts is between 18 - 25 years. There are relaxations based on category:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
Applicants who qualify under these categories must adhere to the extended age limits accordingly.

Application Fees
The application fees are as follows:
- General, OBC, EWS, Ex-Servicemen: ₹ 50-
- SC, ST, PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability): Nil
Payment for the application fee must be made through a Bank Draft in favor of Commandant, GREF Centre, Pune.
