Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics or Geology from a recognized university.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in chemical treatment and preservation of antiquities in a museum, archaeological, or allied organization.
Age Limit (as on 02.10.2025):
- 18–25 years.
- Relaxable by 5 years for Government servants as per Government of India rules.
Probation Period:
- 2 years (with minimum pay scale during probation as per government guidelines).
Application Fee
- All Candidates (General): ₹1200/- (non-refundable).
- Payment to be made online only via the official portal.
Selection Process
- The selection will be based on an OMR-based written examination of 100 marks.
- The qualifying marks are 35% for all categories.
- There will be no interview and no negative marking in the exam.
- The written test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark.
- The subjects covered are as follows:
• Chemistry, Physics and Geology – 70 marks
• Computer and IT – 10 marks
• English – 10 marks
• Aptitude (Reasoning, verbal and non-verbal) – 10 marks
The question paper will be in English medium only and the difficulty level will be as per the essential qualification.
In case of a tie in marks, preference will first be given to candidates with relevant experience in museum/archaeological work, and then to candidates older in age.

- Upload scanned photograph and signature (JPEG format, max 100 KB each).
- Submit the application form and wait for 24 hours before making fee payment.
- Pay the application fee online before 04.10.2025.
- Take two printouts of the application form with photograph affixed. These must be produced later at the time of document verification.
