Job Description
The ITS Manager will be responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The role includes handling field devices, communication networks, data platforms, and system operations to support CTU’s ITS initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and operations of ITS infrastructure including:
- Central traffic signal systems
- Vehicle detection devices, traffic monitoring cameras
- CCTV, ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) systems
- Dynamic / Variable Message Signs (DMS/VMS)
- Automatic Fare Collection systems (ETMs, Smart Cards, mobile payments)
- Planning, design, inspection, and troubleshooting of ITS systems.
- System integration with communication technologies (3G/4G, Fiber Optic, Microwave, LAN, DSRC).
- Designing and supporting Big Data Analytics platforms, Cloud computing, and Open Data systems.
- Development of smartphone applications in the transport domain.
- ITS contract & vendor management.
- Research & Development for fleet safety enhancement using ITS.
- May supervise subordinates and contribute to team projects.

Essential Qualifications
Education:
Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Networking, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
5–7 years of relevant work experience in Intelligent Transportation Systems, specifically in planning, design, installation, operations, and maintenance.

- DMS/VMS
- Vehicle & incident detection technologies
- Automatic Fare Collection systems

- Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing & Open Data platforms
- Business Process Re-engineering in transport services
- Smartphone application development in ITS
- Installation & troubleshooting of ITS field devices

Reporting
The ITS Manager will report to the Chief Operations Manager, CCBSS.

Selection Process
- Selection will be based on Interview.
- In case of a large number of applications, only shortlisted candidates may be called for the test/interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test/interview.
- Candidates already deployed through SPIC will not be considered for this post.
